Beacon of Hope Foundation is a not-for-profit Public Benevolent Institution (PBI) founded in 2020 that provides housing to those requiring benevolent relief.
The Foundation is supported by Yaran Property Group which provides the Foundation financial support and access to its intellectual property.
Yaran is a Perth-based residential property development and investment company that was established in 1996. Yaran specialises in affordable infill development, build-to-rent, and Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA).

Faryar brings 30 years of experience in residential property investment and development since he purchased his first rental property in the early 1980’s.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from Curtin University, Faryar commenced a 20 year career in the oil and gas industry working in various technical and managerial positions.
During this period Faryar accumulated a portfolio of WA residential rental properties and started developing some of the properties, forming Yaran Property Group in 1996.
In August 2020, Faryar founded Beacon of Hope Foundation with Bas Wijers and Marco Buonaiuto.
When not working, Faryar likes spending time with his wife and 3 sons.
Marco has been working in the property industry since 2010 at Yaran Property Group. During this period, he gained experience across all aspects of the business including property finance, property development, sales, and leasing. Marco is also a licensed finance broker and a member of the Finance Brokers Association of Australia (FBAA).
His achievements include raising over $100m funding across 16 projects yielding 390 homes; being named a finalist for the 2019 AFG WA Broker of the Year Award for Commercial Finance; and being appointed to the role of Team Leader/General Manager from 2018 until 2020. Marco continues to hold a position at Yaran but on a consultative basis.
Marco is determined to transfer his commercial skills and experience into the not-for-profit sector to deliver a practical large scale solution to help address the shortage of affordable housing here in WA.
